Tony Blancaflor      

Of the four Blancaflor children, Tony is the first-born. Some unforgettable memories with Tony were theatre outings to see Star Wars and Pink Panther movies. Before he married Maricel, Jasmin and Gina acted as chaperones (spies) on their dates. We always giggled in the back seat as we watched him walk Maricel to her parents' door at the end of the night. He soon caught on and parked the Firebird farther and farther down the block.

Although little Gina was strictly forbidden to touch any of his vinyls, much of her own musical tastes came from his collection of pure disco music. Tony was the epitome of 70's fashion with his elevator shoes, butterfly collars, and perfectly center parted feathered hair. (imagine the Filipino John Travolta) 

Tony has always been into fast cars, his first being a gold Firebird (ala Burt Reynold's car in the movie "Canon Ball Run") Now his taste lies exclusively within the line of BMWs. 

Now Tony has passed on the Blancaflor name onto his two sons, Alex and "Hurricane" Andrew. They are very fortunate to have my brother as their father.
